Christmas Eve was spent at my parents' house. I had to work, but the evening was spent going to Church, eating, and watching The Chargers/Broncos game. That game ended up knocking me out of the Super Bowl in my last remaining fantasy football league. Oh well.

We took the boys to see The Blues play on the 23rd. It was a good game, but the Blues took the loss in OT!!!!

We spent the weekend before Christmas up in Chicago. We rode the train downtown, and shopped and dined while the snow came down. It was an awesome time!!! We stayed with our dear friends, The Sands.
I hope you all have a blessed 2008.

More ESPN

Hello gang,

Still waiting on word on when the ESPN McGwire piece will air, but it should be this week. It has been bumped twice due to pressing news in the world of sports. I may get a crack at some radio work too, once the piece airs, and that would be cool (even though it would be on some sports channel in Oakland). I will send out an E-mail when they tell me it will air. It may be short notice though. ESPN seems to shoot from the hip in regards to the Outside-The-Lines program.

ESPN

As some of you know an ESPN filmcrew visited Casa Reed last Wednesday and spent 3 hours filming a segment for "Outside The Lines". The segment will air in the next few weeks and will center around Mark McGwire and his tarnished legacy, especially in St. Louis.
Cardsclubhouse.com will be getting a nice plug on national television as well, and that will be great.
I hope the editing is kind. I could be a hated man in St. Louis after this airs. McGwire is a controversial issue to say the least. It should be interesting to view.
